न्यग्भावं परमं वायो: शाल्मले त्वमुपागत: । तवाहमस्मीति सदा येन रक्षति मारुत:

Transliteration

nyagbhāvaṃ paramaṃ vāyoḥ śālmale tvam upāgataḥ | tavāham asmīti sadā yena rakṣati mārutaḥ ||

Translation

હે શાલ્મલિ! તું વાયુ સમક્ષ પરમ વિનમ્રતા ધારણ કરીને સદા કહે છે—“હું તો તમારો જ છું”; આ ભાવના કારણે જ મારુત તારી સતત રક્ષા કરે છે.
