Tapas as the Root of Attainment (तपः—साधनमूलप्रशंसा)
कृपा : कर ् न फ सदैव शकुनास्तात मृगाश्चाथ तथा गजा: । वसन्ति तव संहृष्टा मनोहर मनोहरा:
kṛpāḥ karṇaphāḥ sadaiva śakunās tāta mṛgāś cātha tathā gajāḥ | vasanti tava saṁhṛṣṭā manohara manoharāḥ ||
ભીષ્મ બોલ્યા—તાત, મનોહર વૃક્ષરાજ! તારી શાખાઓ પર સદા અનેક પક્ષીઓ વસે છે; અને નીચે અસંખ્ય મૃગો તથા ગજો પણ આનંદથી રહે છે. તારો સાન્નિધ્ય જ પ્રાણીઓ માટે આશ્રય બની તેમને શાંતિમાં એકત્ર કરે છે.
