Daṇḍa as the Foundation of Social Order (दण्डप्रतिष्ठा)
देहान् पुराणानुत्सृज्य नवान् सम्प्रतिपद्यते । एवं मृत्युमुखं प्राहुर्जना ये तत्त्वदर्शिन:
dehān purāṇān utsṛjya navān sampratipadyate | evaṁ mṛtyumukhaṁ prāhur janā ye tattvadarśinaḥ ||
જૂના દેહોને ત્યજી જીવ નવા દેહોને પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે. આ રીતે તત્ત્વદર્શી જન મૃત્યુને વિનાશ નહીં, પરંતુ એક અવસ્થાથી બીજી અવસ્થામાં પ્રવેશમાત્ર કહે છે.
