वश्षित् क्षुद्रसमाचार: पृथिव्यां कालसम्मित: । विचचार महारण्ये घोर: शकुनिलुब्धक:
vaśṣit kṣudra-samācāraḥ pṛthivyāṃ kāla-sammitaḥ | vicacāra mahāraṇye ghoraḥ śakuni-lubdhakaḥ ||
ભીષ્મ બોલ્યા—એક વખત એક વિશાળ વનમાં એક ભયંકર પક્ષી-શિકારી ફરતો હતો. તેનો આચાર અત્યંત નીચ હતો; પૃથ્વી પર તે કાળ સમાન જણાતો હતો.
