Protection of the Refuge-Seeker: Opening of the Kapota Narrative
यथावदुक्त वचन हितार्थिना निशम्य विप्रेण सुवीरराष्ट्रप: तथाकरोदू् वाक्यमदीनचेतन: श्रियं च दीप्तां बुभुजे सबान्धव:
yathāvad ukta-vacanaṁ hitārthinā niśamya vipreṇa su-vīra-rāṣṭrapaḥ | tathākarod vākyaṁ adīna-cetanaḥ śriyaṁ ca dīptāṁ bubhuje sa-bāndhavaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—હિતેચ્છુ બ્રાહ્મણે યથાવત્ કહેલું સુવચન સમ્યક રીતે સાંભળી, તે વીરદેશના રાજાએ તે પ્રમાણે જ આચરણ કર્યું. અદીન અને સ્થિર ચિત્તથી તેણે પોતાના બંધુ-બાંધવો સહિત તેજસ્વી સમૃદ્ધિનો ઉપભોગ કર્યો.
