नासम्यक्‌ कृतकारी स्यादप्रमत्त: सदा भवेत्‌ | कण्टको<पि हि दुश्छिन्नो विकारं कुरुते चिरम्‌

Transliteration

nāsamyak kṛtakārī syād apramattaḥ sadā bhavet | kaṇṭako 'pi hi duśchinnaḥ vikāraṃ kurute ciram ||

Translation

ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—કોઈ કાર્ય યોગ્ય રીતે પૂર્ણ કર્યા વિના છોડવું નહીં અને સદા સાવધાન રહેવું. કારણ કે કાંટો પણ જો બરાબર ન કાઢવામાં આવે અને તેનો થોડો ભાગ અંદર રહી જાય, તો તે લાંબા સમય સુધી વિકૃતિ (વિકાર) ઉત્પન્ન કરે છે।
