न त्वन्यामिह मार्जाराद्‌ गतिं पश्यामि साम्प्रतम्‌ । विषमस्थो हायं शत्रु: कृत्यं चास्य महन्मया

Transliteration

na tv anyām iha mārjārād gatiṁ paśyāmi sāmpratam | viṣamastho hāyaṁ śatruḥ kṛtyaṁ cāsya mahan mayā ||

Translation

ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—આ સમયે આ બિલાડીનો આશરો લેવાનો સિવાય મને બીજો કોઈ માર્ગ દેખાતો નથી. ભલે આ મારી કટ્ટર શત્રુ હોય, તોય હાલ તે પોતે જ ભારે સંકટમાં ફસાઈ છે; અને મારા દ્વારા તેનું પણ એક મોટું કાર્ય સિદ્ધ થઈ શકે છે.
