संधातव्यं बुधैर्नित्यं व्यवस्य च हितार्थिभि: । अमिन्रैरपि संधेयं प्राणा रक्ष्या हि भारत

Transliteration

sandhātavyaṁ budhair nityaṁ vyavasya ca hitārthibhiḥ | amitrair api sandheyaṁ prāṇā rakṣyā hi bhārata ||

Translation

હે ભારત! હિત ઇચ્છનારા બુદ્ધિમાનોને વિચારપૂર્વક નક્કી કરીને હંમેશાં સંધિ કરવી જોઈએ; અને જરૂર પડે ત્યારે શત્રુઓ સાથે પણ સંધિ કરવી—કારણ કે પ્રાણોની રક્ષા સદૈવ કર્તવ્ય છે।
