बुद्धया त्वमुशना साक्षाद् बलेनाधिकृता वयम् । त्वं मन्त्रबलयुक्तो हि दत्त्वा जीवितमद्य मे
buddhayā tvam uśanā sākṣād balenādhikṛtā vayam | tvaṁ mantrabalayukto hi dattvā jīvitam adya me ||
ભીષ્મ બોલ્યા— બુદ્ધિમાં તું સાક્ષાત્ ઉશના (શુક્રાચાર્ય) સમાન છે. તારા બળથી અમે સૌ તારા વશમાં આવી ગયા છીએ. તું મંત્રબળ અને નીતિબળથી યુક્ત છે; આજે મને જીવનદાન આપી તું અમારા સૌના હૃદયો પર અધિકાર મેળવી લીધો છે.
