आपद्-राजनीतिः (Āpad-rājanīti) — Policy Options in Multi-Front Crisis
कृतघ्नेषु च या सक्ता नृशंसेष्वलसेषु च | अपकारिषु चासक्ता सा55शा कृशतरी मया
kṛtaghneṣu ca yā saktā nṛśaṃseṣv alaseṣu ca | apakāriṣu cāsaktā sāśā kṛśatarī mayā ||
કૃતઘ્નો, નિર્દય, આળસુ તથા બીજાનું અપકાર કરનારાઓમાં જે ‘આશા’ આસક્ત રહે છે, તે વારંવાર નિષ્ફળ થઈ ચિંતા દ્વારા મનુષ્યને ક્ષીણ કરી નાખે છે; તેથી તે આશા મારી કરતાં પણ વધુ કૃશ છે.
