संशयो मे महानेष समुत्पन्न: पितामह । छेत्ता च तस्य नान्यो<स्ति त्वत्त: परपुरञज्जय,शत्रुनगरीपर विजय पानेवाले पितामह! मेरे मनमें यह महान्‌ संशय उत्पन्न हुआ है। इसका निवारण करनेवाला आपके सिवा दूसरा कोई नहीं है

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca — saṁśayo me mahān eṣa samutpannaḥ pitāmaha | chettā ca tasya nānyo 'sti tvattaḥ parapurañjaya ||

પિતામહ! મારા મનમાં આ મહાન સંશય ઉત્પન્ન થયો છે. પરપુરંજય (શત્રુનગરવિજેતા)! તેને છેદનાર આપ સિવાય બીજો કોઈ નથી।
