कृतमित्येव दैत्येन्द्रमुवाच स च वै द्विज: । प्रह्मादस्त्वब्रवीत् प्रीतो गृह्ुतां वर इत्युत
kṛtam ity eva daityendram uvāca sa ca vai dvijaḥ | prahlādas tv abravīt prīto gṛhyatāṁ vara ity uta ||
ત્યારે તે દ્વિજે દૈત્યેન્દ્રને કહ્યું—“કૃતમ્; તમે મારી ઇચ્છા પૂર્ણ કરી.” આ સાંભળી પ્રહ્લાદ વધુ પ્રસન્ન થયો અને બોલ્યો—“તો એક વર અવશ્ય સ્વીકારો; માગો.”
