Vetasa-Nīti: The Reed and the Flood (वेतस-नीति)
कालज्ञ: समयज्ञश्न सदा वश्यश्न नोद्धत: | अनुलोमस्तथास्तब्धस्तेन नाभ्येति वेतस:
kālajñaḥ samayajñaś ca sadā vaśyaś ca noddhataḥ | anulomas tathāstabdhas tena nābhyeti vetasaḥ ||
સાગર બોલ્યો—વેતસ કાળ અને અવસર ઓળખે છે અને તે મુજબ વર્તે છે. તે સદા વશમાં રહે છે, કદી ઉદ્ધત થતો નથી; અનુકૂળ રહે છે અને તેમાં અકડ નથી આવતી. તેથી તેને પોતાનું સ્થાન છોડીને અહીં આવવું પડતું નથી।
