Praise of Venerating Mother, Father, and Teacher
ब्रह्मलोकं गुरोरव॑त्त्या नियमेन तरिष्यसि । यदि तुम इन तीनोंकी सेवामें कोई भूल नहीं करोगे तो तीनों लोकोंको जीत लोगे। पिताकी सेवासे इस लोकको, माताकी सेवासे परलोकको तथा नियमपूर्वक गुरुकी सेवासे ब्रह्मलोकको भी लाँध जाओगे
brahmalokaṁ guror avatyā niyamena tariṣyasi |
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—નિયમપૂર્વક ગુરુની સેવા કરવાથી તું બ્રહ્મલોકને પણ પાર કરી જશે. પિતા, માતા અને ગુરુ—આ ત્રણેની સેવામાં જો તારી કોઈ ભૂલ ન થાય, તો જાણે તું ત્રણેય લોક જીતે: પિતૃસેવાથી આ લોકની સિદ્ધિ, માતૃસેવાથી પરલોકની સિદ્ધિ, અને નિયમબદ્ધ ગુરુસેવાથી બ્રહ્મલોકને પણ અતિક્રમણ.
