जनकस्य युद्धोपदेशः — Janaka’s Instruction on Steadfast Battle-Conduct
हर्षयेयुविंषण्णांश्व व्यवस्थाप्य परस्परम् । जितां च भूमिं रक्षेत भग्नान् नात्यनुसारयेत्
harṣayeya viṣaṇṇānś ca vyavasthāpya parasparam | jitāṃ ca bhūmiṃ rakṣeta bhagnān nātyanusarayet ||
જો પોતાની સેના નિરાશ અથવા શિથિલ થવા લાગે, તો તેમને પૂર્વવત્ વ્યૂહમાં ફરી ગોઠવી પરસ્પર સહાયરૂપે સ્થિર કરે અને તેમનો હર્ષ તથા ઉત્સાહ વધારવો. જીતેલી ભૂમિનું રક્ષણ કરવું; પરંતુ પરાજિત થઈ ભાગતા શત્રુનો બહુ દૂર સુધી પીછો ન કરવો.
