Duryodhana’s Post-Duel Lament and Instructions (भग्नसक्थस्य विलापः)

पुत्रशोकाभिसंतप्त॑ बुद्धिव्याकुलितेन्द्रियम्‌ । “आप पुत्रशोकसे सर्वथा संतप्त हैं। आपकी बुद्धि और इन्द्रियाँ शोकसे व्याकुल हैं। ऐसी दशामें वे अत्यन्त लज्जित होनेके कारण आपके सामने नहीं आ रहे हैं!

putraśokābhisantaptaṁ buddhivyākulitendriyam |

વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—“તમે પુત્રશોકથી સર્વથા સંતપ્ત છો. શોકથી તમારી બુદ્ધિ અને ઇન્દ્રિયો વ્યાકુલ થઈ ગઈ છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં તેઓ લજ્જાથી અભિભૂત થઈ તમારા સમક્ષ આવતા નથી.”
