Duryodhana’s Post-Duel Lament and Instructions (भग्नसक्थस्य विलापः)
धर्मतो न््यायतश्चवैव स्नेहतश्न॒ परंतप । महाप्राज्ञ! आप पाण्डवोंपर दोषारोपण न कीजियेगा। परंतप! धर्म, न्याय और स्नेहकी दृष्टिसे महात्मा पाण्डवोंका इसमें थोड़ा-सा भी अपराध नहीं है
dharma-to nyāyataś caiva snehataś ca parantapa | mahāprājña! āp pāṇḍavopari doṣāropaṇa na kījiyegā | parantapa! dharma, nyāya aura sneha kī dṛṣṭi se mahātmā pāṇḍavoṃ kā ismeṃ thoṛā-sā bhī aparādha nahīṃ hai |
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—હે પરંતપ! ધર્મ, ન્યાય અને સ્નેહ—આ ત્રણેય દૃષ્ટિએ પાંડવો પર દોષારોપ ન કરશો. હે મહાપ્રાજ્ઞ! ધર્મ-ન્યાય અને અનુગ્રહની નજરે આ વિષયમાં મહાત્મા પાંડવોમાં લેશમાત્ર પણ અપરાધ નથી.
