The Fall of Duryodhana and the Contest of Restraint
पुनरावर्तमानानां भग्नानां जीवितैषिणाम् । भेतव्यमरिशेषाणामेकायनगता हिते
punarāvartamānānāṁ bhagnānāṁ jīvitaiṣiṇām | bhetavyam ariśeṣāṇām ekāyanagatā hi te ||
વાયુએ કહ્યું: “જે શત્રુઓ તૂટી પડીને જીવ બચાવવાની ઇચ્છાથી ભાગ્યા હોય, પરંતુ ફરી પાછા વળી યુદ્ધ તરફ આવવા લાગે—એવા બચેલા શત્રુઓથી સાવચેત રહેવું જોઈએ; કારણ કે તેઓ એક જ માર્ગના દૃઢ નિશ્ચય પર પહોંચી જાય છે, અને ત્યારે મૃત્યુથી પણ ડરતા નથી.”
