Gadāyuddhe Kṛṣṇopadeśaḥ (Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel in the Mace-Duel) — Śalya-parva 57
गदानिपातं प्रज्ञाय भीमसेनं च वज्चितम् | वज्चयित्वा तदा भीम॑ गदया कुरुसत्तम:
gadānipātaṁ prajñāya bhīmasenaṁ ca vañcitam | vañcayitvā tadā bhīmaṁ gadayā kurusattamaḥ ||
સંજય બોલ્યા—ગદાનો નીચે પડતો પ્રહાર જાણી અને ભીમસેન ક્ષણવાર છેતરાયો છે એમ જોઈ, કુરુશ્રેષ્ઠે ત્યારે ભીમને કપટથી વંચિત કરી પોતાની ગદાથી પ્રહાર કર્યો।
