वैशम्पायन उवाच शृणु राजन्निदं चित्र पूर्वकल्पे यथातथम् । आदी कृतयुगे राजन् वर्तमाने यथाविधि
Transliteration
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: śṛṇu rājann idaṃ citraṃ pūrvakalpe yathātatham | ādau kṛtayuge rājan vartamāne yathāvidhi ||
Translation
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—હે રાજન, પૂર્વકલ્પમાં જેમ બન્યું હતું તેમ જ આ અદ્ભુત વર્ણન સાંભળો. હે રાજન, કૃતયુગના આરંભમાં, જ્યારે બધું વિધિ મુજબ ચાલતું હતું…
