भगो: शापान्महाभाग यदुक्तं ब्रह्मवादिना । महाभाग! फिर वे जैसे आये थे, वैसे लौट गये और अग्निदेव महर्षि भृूगुके शापसे सर्वभक्षी हो गये। उन ब्रह्मवादी मुनिने जैसा कहा था, वैसा ही हुआ ।। तत्राप्याप्लुत्य मतिमान् ब्रह्मयोनिं जगाम ह
bhṛgoḥ śāpān mahābhāga yad uktaṃ brahmavādinā | mahābhāga punaḥ te yathā āyātās tathā nivavṛtuḥ agnidevaś ca maharṣeḥ bhṛgoḥ śāpena sarvabhakṣo 'bhavat | tena brahmavādinā yathoktaṃ tathāiva abhavat || tatra api āplutya matimān brahmayoniṃ jagāma ha ||
હે મહાભાગ! બ્રહ્મવાદી મુનિએ જે કહ્યું હતું તે ભૃગુના શાપથી યથાવત્ સાચું પડ્યું. તેઓ જેમ આવ્યા હતા તેમ જ પાછા ગયા અને અગ્નિ સર્વભક્ષી બન્યો. અને ત્યાં પણ તે બુદ્ધિમાન (અગ્નિ) સ્નાન કરીને બ્રહ્મયોનિ તરફ ગયો।
