इसके बाद महर्षि महोदर पुनः उस श्रेष्ठ तीर्थमें गये और वहाँका प्रचुर जल पीकर उत्तम सिद्धिको प्राप्त हुए ।।
tatra dattvā bahūn dāyān viprān sampūjya mādhavaḥ | jagāma vṛṣṇipravaro ruṣaṅgor āśramaṃ tadā ||
ત્યારબાદ મહર્ષિ મહોદર ફરીથી તે શ્રેષ્ઠ તીર્થમાં ગયા અને ત્યાંનું પ્રચુર જળ પીીને ઉત્તમ સિદ્ધિ પ્રાપ્ત કરી। ત્યાં માધવ—વૃષ્ણિઓમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ—એ બ્રાહ્મણોનું યથોચિત પૂજન કરીને તેમને બહુ દાન આપ્યાં; પછી તેઓ રુષંગુ મુનિના આશ્રમ તરફ ગયા।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharma expressed through dāna (generous giving) and satkāra (proper honour) toward brāhmaṇas and the learned. Merit is portrayed as arising not only from travel to sacred places but from ethical conduct—reverence, generosity, and humility—performed there.
After reaching that place, Mādhava, described as the foremost of the Vṛṣṇis, honours the brāhmaṇas and gives them abundant gifts. He then departs and goes to the hermitage of the sage Ruṣaṅgu, continuing his journey among sacred sites and ascetic dwellings.
