Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative

प्राप्तैश्न नियमैस्तैस्तैविचरन्त: पृथक्‌ पृथक्‌,पुरुषश्रेष्ठल वे उन स्वीकृत नियमोंके अनुसार पृथक्‌-पृथक्‌ विचरते हुए मनुष्योंसे अदृश्य रहकर घूमते थे। नरव्याप्र! इस प्रकार वह वनस्पति इस विश्वमें विख्यात था

prāptaiś ca niyamais tais tais te vicarantaḥ pṛthak pṛthak | adṛśyāḥ puruṣaśreṣṭha loke svīkṛtaniyamānusāriṇaḥ ||

વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—તેઓ વિવિધ નિયમો સ્વીકારી, પોતાના-પોતાના આચાર મુજબ અલગ અલગ વિચરતા. મનુષ્યોને અદૃશ્ય રહી તેઓ જગતમાં પરિભ્રમણ કરતા; હે નરવ્યાઘ્ર, આ રીતે તે વનસ્પતિ આ લોકમાં વિખ્યાત થઈ.
