Śālva’s Elephant Assault and the Counterstroke (शाल्वस्य नागारूढाभ्यवहारः)
अद्यार्जुनभनुर्घोषं घोरं जानातु संयुगे । अस्त्राणां च बलं॑ सर्व बाद्दोश्चन बलमाहवे,“आज राजा धृतराष्ट्र अनुभव करें कि भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका कैसा माहात्म्य है और आज वे यह भी जान लें कि युद्धस्थलमें अर्जुनके गाण्डीव धनुषकी टंकार कितनी भयंकर है? उनके अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकी सारी शक्ति कैसी है तथा रणभूमिमें उनकी दोनों भुजाओंका बल कितना अद्भुत है?

adyārjunadhanurghoṣaṃ ghoraṃ jānātu saṃyuge |
astrāṇāṃ ca balaṃ sarvaṃ bāhvoś ca balaṃ āhave ||
આજે રાજા ધૃતરાષ્ટ્ર યુદ્ધમધ્યે અર્જુનના ધનુષ્યની ઘોર ટંકાર જાણે; અને રણભૂમિમાં અર્જુનના અસ્ત્રોની સંપૂર્ણ શક્તિ તથા તેની ભુજાઓનું બળ પણ સમજે.
