द्वाभ्यामतिशिताग्राभ्यामुभौ तत् पार्ष्णिसारथी । ततोअस्य दीप्यमानेन पीतेन निशितेन च
dvābhyām atiśitāgrābhyām ubhau tat pārṣṇisārathī | tato 'sya dīpyamānena pītena niśitena ca
સંજય બોલ્યા—ત્યારે પાર્ષ્ણિના સારથીએ અતિ તીક્ષ્ણ અગ્રવાળા બે શસ્ત્રોથી તે બંને પર પ્રહાર કર્યો. ત્યારબાદ તેણે જ્વલંત, પીળા વર્ણના, ધારદાર ક્ષેપણાસ્ત્રથી તેને ફરી આઘાત કરીને યુદ્ધમધ્યે સંઘર્ષની ઉગ્રતા વધારી દીધી.
