वेपमानान् क्षितौ भीतान् नैव कांश्रचिदमुज्चताम् । नामुच्यत तयो: वक्षिन्निष्क्रान्त: शिबिराद् बहि:
vepamānān kṣitau bhītān naiva kāṁścid amuñcatām | nāmuñcyata tayoḥ vakṣi nīṣkrāntaḥ śibirād bahiḥ ||
સંજય બોલ્યો—ભૂમિ પર કાંપતા અને ભયભીત પડેલા તેઓમાંથી કોઈને પણ તે બે જણાએ છોડ્યા નહીં. શિબિરથી બહાર નીકળ્યા પછી પણ તેમના હાથમાંથી કોઈ બચી ન શક્યો; તેમણે સંહાર ચાલુ રાખ્યો અને એક પણ જીવતો ન છોડ્યો.
