Aśvatthāmā’s Buddhi-Doctrine and Nocturnal Incursion Resolve (अश्वत्थाम्नः बुद्धिविचारः सौप्तिकसंकल्पश्च)
अद्याहं सर्वपञ्चालान् निहत्य च निकृत्य च । अर्दयिष्यामि संदहृष्टो रणे पाण्डुसुतांस्तथा
sañjaya uvāca | adyāhaṁ sarvapañcālān nihatyā ca nikṛtya ca | ardayiṣyāmi saṁdahṛṣṭo raṇe pāṇḍusutāṁs tathā ||
આજે હું રણભૂમિમાં સર્વ પાંચાલોને મારીને અને તેમના અંગો છિન્નભિન્ન કરીને, હર્ષથી ઉન્મત્ત બની પાંડુના પુત્રોને પણ કચડી નાખીશ।
