Daiva–Puruṣakāra Saṃvāda
Kṛpa’s Counsel on Destiny and Human Effort
न हि दैवेन सिध्यन्ति कार्याण्येकेन सत्तम । न चापि कर्मणैकेन द्वाभ्यां सिद्धस्तु योगत:
na hi daivena sidhyanti kāryāṇy ekena sattama | na cāpi karmaṇaikena dvābhyāṃ siddhas tu yogataḥ ||
કૃપ બોલ્યા—હે નરશ્રેષ્ઠ! માત્ર દૈવથી કાર્યો સિદ્ધ થતા નથી, અને માત્ર પુરુષાર્થથી પણ નથી. બંનેના યોગ્ય સંયોગથી જ સિદ્ધિ થાય છે.
