द्रौपहयुवाच कथं त्वेवं वदसि प्रातिकामिन् को हि दीव्येद् भार्यया राजपुत्र: । मूढो राजा द्यूतमदेन मत्तो हाभून्नान्यत् कैतवमस्य किंचित्
drauapady uvāca kathaṃ tv evaṃ vadasi prātikāmin ko hi dīvyed bhāryayā rājaputraḥ | mūḍho rājā dyūtamadena matto hābhūn nānyat kaitavam asya kiṃcit ||
દ્રૌપદીએ કહ્યું—પ્રાતિકામિન! તું આવું કેવી રીતે બોલે છે? કયો રાજપુત્ર પોતાની પત્નીને દાવ પર મૂકી જુગાર રમે? શું રાજા યુધિષ્ઠિર જુગારના મદમાં એટલા મૂઢ થયા કે આપવા માટે બીજું કશું જ બાકી ન રહ્યું? આ તો માત્ર કપટ છે.
