आशीविषान्‌ नेत्रविषान्‌ कोपयेन्न च पण्डित: । एवं ते5हं वदामीदं प्रयतः कुरुनन्दन

Transliteration

Āśīviṣān netraviṣān kopayen na ca paṇḍitaḥ | evaṁ te 'haṁ vadāmīdaṁ prayataḥ kurunandana ||

Translation

કુરુનંદન! હું એકાગ્ર ચિત્તે તને કહું છું—વિદ્વાન પુરુષ એવા સર્પોને ક્રોધિત ન કરે, જે દાંતોથી જ નહીં, નેત્રોથી પણ વિષ વરસાવે છે.
