अक्षदेवन-प्रवर्तनम् | Commencement of the Dice Game
विसंज्ञान् भूमिपान् दृष्टवा मां च ते प्राहसंस्तदा । ततः प्रह्ृष्टो बीभत्सु: प्रादाद्धेमविषाणिनाम्
visaṁjñān bhūmipān dṛṣṭvā māṁ ca te prāhasaṁs tadā | tataḥ prahṛṣṭo bībhatsuḥ prādād hemaviṣāṇinām ||
દુર્યોધને કહ્યું—મને અને અન્ય રાજાઓને જમીન પર અચેત પડેલા જોઈ તેઓ તે સમયે જોરથી હસ્યા. ત્યારબાદ પ્રસન્ન થયેલા બીભત્સુ અર્જુને સોનાથી મઢેલા શિંગવાળા પાંચસો બળદ શ્રેષ્ઠ બ્રાહ્મણોમાં દાન કર્યા.
