Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चिद् धर्मे त्रयीमूले पूर्वराचरिते जनै: । यतमानस्तथा कर्तु तस्मिन् कर्मणि वर्तसे
kaccid dharme trayīmūle pūrvarācarite janaiḥ | yatamānas tathā kartu tasmin karmaṇi vartase ||
નારદ બોલ્યા—જે ધર્મનું મૂળ ત્રયી (ત્રણ વેદ) છે અને જેનું આચરણ પ્રાચીન લોકોએ કર્યું છે, તે ધર્મનું અનુષ્ઠાન કરવા તું એ જ રીતે પ્રયત્નશીલ છે ને? તારા પૂર્વજોની જેમ ધર્માનુકૂળ કર્મમાં જ તારી પ્રવૃત્તિ રહે છે ને?
