Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चिद् राष्ट्र तडागानि पूर्णानि च बृहन्ति च । भागशो विनिविष्टानि न कृषिर्देवमातृका
kaccid rāṣṭra-taḍāgāni pūrṇāni ca bṛhanti ca | bhāgaśo viniviṣṭāni na kṛṣir devamātṛkā ||
નારદે કહ્યું—શું તારા રાજ્યમાં મોટા મોટા તળાવો અને જળાશયો પાણીથી ભરપૂર છે અને દરેક ભાગમાં યોગ્ય રીતે સ્થાપિત કરાયેલા છે? કારણ કે ખેતી માત્ર વરસાદના ભરોસે ચાલતી નથી.
