Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चिद् वृत्तिमुदासीने मध्यमे चानुमन्यसे । कच्चिदात्मसमा वृद्धा: शुद्धा: सम्बोधनक्षमा:
kaccid vṛttim udāsīne madhyame cānumanyase | kaccid ātmasamā vṛddhāḥ śuddhāḥ sambodhanakṣamāḥ |
નારદ બોલ્યા—ઉદાસીન અને મધ્યમ માર્ગે રહેનારાઓ પ્રત્યે કેવો વ્યવહાર કરવો જોઈએ, તેનો તું યોગ્ય અંદાજ અને નિયંત્રણ રાખે છે? અને શું તું પોતાના સમાન વિશ્વસનીય, વૃદ્ધ, શુદ્ધ હૃદયવાળા અને યોગ્ય ઉપદેશ આપી શકે એવા પુરુષોને જ અમાત્ય બનાવ્યા છે?
