नारद उवाच कच्चिदभ्यागता दूराद्‌ वणिजो लाभकारणात्‌ । यथोक्तमवहार्यन्ते शुल्क शुल्कोपजीविभि:

Transliteration

nārada uvāca | kaccid abhyāgatā dūrād vaṇijo lābhakāraṇāt | yathoktam avahāryante śulka-śulkopajīvibhiḥ ||

Translation

નારદ બોલ્યા—રાજન! લાભ માટે દૂરથી વેપારીઓ અહીં આવે છે ને? અને જે શુલ્ક-કર વસૂલ કરીને જીવન ચલાવે છે, તે તમારા કર્મચારીઓ નિયમ મુજબ જ શુલ્ક વસૂલ કરે છે ને—વધારે તો નથી લેતા?
