Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)

रूपवान्‌ वीर्यसम्पन्न: श्रीमानतुलविक्रम: । नित्यं दीक्षाड॒किततनु: शतक्रतुरिवापर:,राजा बृहद्रथ बड़े ही रूपवान, बलवान, धनवान्‌ और अनुपम पराक्रमी थे। उनका शरीर दूसरे इन्द्रकी भाँति सदा यज्ञकी दीक्षाके चिह्नोंसे ही सुशोभित होता रहता था

rūpavān vīryasampannaḥ śrīmān atulavikramaḥ | nityaṃ dīkṣāṅkitatanuḥ śatakratur ivāparaḥ ||

રાજા બૃહદ્રથ અત્યંત રૂપવાન, વીર્યસંપન્ન, શ્રીમાન અને અતુલ પરાક્રમી હતા. તેમનું શરીર સદા યજ્ઞ-દીક્ષાના ચિહ્નોથી શોભિત રહેતું—જાણે શતક્રતુ ઇન્દ્ર સમાન બીજો ઇન્દ્ર.
