सावित्री दुर्गतरणी वाणी सप्तविधा तथा । मेधा धृति: श्रुतिश्वैव प्रज्ञा बुद्धिर्यश: क्षमा,सावित्री, दुर्गम दुःखसे उबारनेवाली दुर्गा, सात प्रकारकी प्रणवरूपा वाणीः, मेधा, धृति, श्रुति, प्रज्ञा, बुद्धि, यश और क्षमा,
sāvitrī durgataraṇī vāṇī saptavidhā tathā | medhā dhṛtiḥ śrutiś caiva prajñā buddhir yaśaḥ kṣamā ||
નારદે કહ્યું—સાવિત્રી, જે દુર્ગમ માર્ગો પાર કરાવે છે; સાતવિધ પવિત્ર વાણી; તેમજ મેધા, ધૃતિ, શ્રુતિ, પ્રજ્ઞા, બુદ્ધિ, યશ અને ક્ષમા—આ બધાં દિવ્ય દાન છે.
