अध्याय ९ — कर्णस्य प्रहारः, योधयुग्मनियोजनम्, शैनेय-कैकेययोर्युद्धविन्यासः
पड़ोरिवाध्वगमनं दरिद्रस्पेव कामितम्
paḍor ivādhvagamanaṁ daridrasyeva kāmitam
ધૃતરાષ્ટ્ર બોલ્યા—આ આગળ વધવું થાકેલા પથિકની પગપાળા યાત્રા જેવું છે, અને દરિદ્રની ઇચ્છા જેવું—વિવશ, દુઃખદ, આનંદથી નહીં પરંતુ જરૂરિયાતથી ચલિત.
