कपिश्रेष्ठस्तु पार्थस्य व्यादितास्य इवान्तक: । दंष्टाभिर्भीषयन्‌ भाभिद्दुर्निरी क्ष्यो रविर्यथा

Transliteration

kapiśreṣṭhas tu pārthasya vyāditāsya ivāntakaḥ | daṃṣṭrābhir bhīṣayan bhābhid durnirīkṣyo ravir yathā ||

Translation

સંજય બોલ્યો—પાર્થ (અર્જુન)ના રથ પર કપિશ્રેષ્ઠ બેઠો હતો; મોં ફાડીને બેઠેલો તે જાણે અંતક (યમ) જ, અને પોતાની દાઢોથી સૌને ભય પમાડતો હતો. પોતાની પ્રભાથી તે સૂર્ય સમાન જણાતો; તેની તરફ જોવું મુશ્કેલ હતું॥
