निहन्मि दुःशासनमप्य पापं संरक्ष्यतामद्य समस्तयोधा: । उन्होंने वहाँ कर्ण
sañjaya uvāca | nihanmi duḥśāsanam adya pāpaṁ saṁrakṣyatām adya samasta-yodhāḥ |
સંજય બોલ્યા—“આજે હું પાપી દુઃશાસનનો વધ કરીશ. તમે બધા યોદ્ધાઓ મળીને આજે જો તેની રક્ષા કરી શકો તો કરી જુઓ.” એમ કહી તેણે કર્ણ, દુર્યોધન, કૃપાચાર્ય, અશ્વત્થામા અને કૃતવર્માને સંબોધીને આ પડકાર આપ્યો.
