हया: ससूता निहता नरेन्द्र चूर्णीकृतश्चास्य रथ: पतन्त्या । दुःशासनं पाण्डवा: प्रेक्ष्य सर्वे हृष्टा: पज्चाला: सिंहनादानमुछ्चन्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

hayāḥ sasūtā nihatā narendra cūrṇīkṛtaś cāsya rathaḥ patantyā |

duḥśāsanaṃ pāṇḍavāḥ prekṣya sarve hṛṣṭāḥ pañcālāḥ siṃhanādān amuñcan ||

Translation

સંજય બોલ્યો— હે નરેન્દ્ર! તે ગદા પડતાં જ દુઃશાસનનો રથ ચકનાચૂર થઈ ગયો અને સારથિસહિત તેના ઘોડાઓ પણ માર્યા ગયા. દુઃશાસનને એવી હાલતમાં જોઈ બધા પાંડવો અને પાંચાલ યોદ્ધાઓ હર્ષથી ભરાઈ સિંહનાદ કરવા લાગ્યા.
