ते वध्यमाना: समरे चेदिमत्स्या विशाम्पते । कर्णमेकमभिद्रुत्य शरसड्घै: समार्पयन्,प्रजानाथ! समरमें घायल होते हुए भी चेदि और मत्स्य देशके वीरोंने एकमात्र कर्णपर धावा करके उसे बाण-समूहोंसे ढक दिया
te vadhyamānāḥ samare cedimatsyā viśāmpate | karṇam ekam abhidrutya śarasaṅghaiḥ samārpayan, prajānātha |
હે પ્રજાનાથ! સમરમાં ઘાયલ થતા હોવા છતાં ચેદિ અને મત્સ્યના વીરો એકમાત્ર કર્ણ પર ધસી જઈ તેને બાણસમૂહોથી ઢાંકી દેવા લાગ્યા.
