अनाश्षचर्य हि तत् त्वत्तस्त्वं हि पार्थ महारथ: । 'पार्थ! सब राजा जानते हैं कि सिंधुराज जयद्रथका वध एक आश्वर्यभरी घटना है, किंतु तुमसे ऐसा होना कोई आश्चवर्यकी बात नहीं है; क्योंकि तुम असाधारण महारथी हो
anāścarya hi tat tvattas tvaṃ hi pārtha mahārathaḥ |
સંજય બોલ્યો—હે પાર્થ! તારા તરફથી આ થવું આશ્ચર્ય નથી; કારણ કે તું મહારથી છે. સૈંધવાધિપતિ જયદ્રથના વધને રાજાઓ આશ્ચર્ય માને છે, પરંતુ તારા માટે તે સ્વાભાવિક છે.
