त्रयोदशेमा हि समा: सदा वयं त्वामन्वजीविष्म धनंजयाशया । काले वर्ष देवमिवोप्तबीजं तन्न: सर्वान् नरके त्वं न््यमज्ज:
trayodaśemā hi samāḥ sadā vayaṃ tvām anvajīviṣma dhanañjayāśayā | kāle varṣa devam ivoptabījaṃ tan naḥ sarvān narake tvaṃ nyamajjaḥ ||
હે ધનંજય! આ તેર વર્ષો સુધી અમે સદા તારી આશા પર જ જીવ્યા. જેમ વાવેલું બીજ સમયસર મેઘવર્ષાની રાહ જોઈ ટકી રહે છે, તેમ અમે ટક્યા; પરંતુ તું અમને સૌને નરકમાં ડૂબાડી દીધા—ભયંકર સંકટ અને નિરાશામાં.
