अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

नरेषु च महाराज कृतं सम कदनं महत् । महाराज! सूतपुत्रने हाथियों, घोड़ों, रथों और पैदल मनुष्योंके दलमें घुसकर बड़ा भारी संहार मचा दिया था
nareṣu ca mahārāja kṛtaṃ sama kadanaṃ mahat |
સંજય બોલ્યો—મહારાજ, નરોમાં પણ સમરૂપે મહા કતલ થયો. સૂતપુત્ર કર્ણ હાથી-ઘોડા-રથ અને પદાતિ દળોમાં ઘૂસી જઈ ભારે સંહાર મચાવ્યો.
