अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

धनुश्वचिच्छेद भल्लेन जातरूपपरिष्कृतम् । उनमेंसे पाँच भल्लोंद्वारा दुर्योधनके सारथि और घोड़ोंको मारकर एक भल्लसे उसके सुवर्णभूषित धनुषको काट डाला

dhanuś ciccheda bhallena jātarūpa-pariṣkṛtam |
pañcabhir bhallair duryodhanasya sārathiṃ hayāṃś ca jaghāna, ekena bhallena tasya suvarṇa-bhūṣitaṃ dhanuś ciccheda |
સંજય બોલ્યા—એક ભલ્લબાણથી તેણે સોનાથી શોભિત ધનુષ કાપી નાખ્યું. પછી પાંચ ભલ્લોથી દુર્યોધનના સારથી અને ઘોડાઓને પાડી દીધા અને એક જ ભલ્લથી તેના સ્વર્ણભૂષિત ધનુષને ફરી છિન્ન કરી દીધું।
