युयुधे पाण्डुभि: सार्थ कर्णस्याप्पाययन्‌ बलम्‌ । दुःशासन विधिपूर्वक सजाये हुए दूसरे रथपर बैठकर कर्णके बलको बढ़ाता हुआ पुनः पाण्डवोंके साथ युद्ध करने लगा

sañjaya uvāca | yuyudhe pāṇḍubhiḥ sārthaṃ karṇasyāpyāyayan balam | duḥśāsanaḥ vidhipūrvakaṃ sajāye (sajjīkṛte) dvitīye rathopaviśya karṇasya balaṃ vardhayann punaḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ saha yuddhaṃ kartum ārabdhavān |

સંજય બોલ્યા—દુઃશાસન વિધિપૂર્વક તૈયાર કરેલા બીજા રથ પર ચઢી, કર્ણનું બળ વધારવાની ઇચ્છાથી, ફરી પાંડવો સાથે યુદ્ધ કરવા લાગ્યો।
