पाण्डवेयानि सैन्यानि विद्रवन्ति दिशो दश । “यह वही वीर है जिसकी प्रत्यंचाकी अत्यन्त भयानक टंकार सुनकर पाण्डव-सेना दसों दिशाओंमें भागने लगती है
pāṇḍaveyāni sainyāni vidravanti diśo daśa |
સંજય બોલ્યો— “પાંડવપક્ષની સેનાઓ દસેય દિશાઓમાં છૂટીને ભાગે છે. તે વીરની ધનુષ્ય-પ્રત્યંચાની અત્યંત ભયાનક ટંકાર સાંભળતાં જ ભય વ્યાપે છે અને શિસ્તબદ્ધ પંક્તિઓ પણ ક્ષણમાં ભગદડમાં ફેરવાઈ જાય છે.”
