कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line

आरुरोह तदा स्थाणुर्धनुषा कम्पयन्‌ परान्‌ । तब विष्णु, चन्द्रमा और अग्निसे उत्पन्न हुए उस बाणको हाथमें लेकर महादेवजी अपने धनुषके द्वारा शत्रुओंको कम्पित करते हुए उस रथपर चढ़ गये

āruroha tadā sthāṇur dhanuṣā kampayan parān | tad viṣṇu-candra-māgni-sambhūtaṁ taṁ bāṇaṁ haste gṛhītvā mahādevaḥ sva-dhanuṣā śatrūn kampayan ratham ārūḍhavān ||

ભીષ્મે કહ્યું— “ત્યારે સ્થાણુ (શિવ) પોતાના ધનુષ્યથી શત્રુઓને કંપાવી રથ પર આરોહણ થયા. વિષ્ણુ, ચંદ્ર અને અગ્નિમાંથી ઉત્પન્ન કહેવાતા તે બાણને હાથમાં લઈને મહાદેવે પોતાના ધનુષ્યથી શત્રુસેનામાં ભય ફેલાવ્યો.”
