उभयो: सेनयोरवरिव्याकुलं समपद्यत | महाराज! सामने आये हुए अपने और शत्रुपक्षके योद्धाओंको भी अपने ही पक्षके लोग मार डालते थे। दोनों सेनाओंके वीर मर्यादाशून्य युद्धमें प्रवृत्त हो गये थे

સંજય બોલ્યો—મહારાજ, બંને સેનાઓ શત્રુઓની ભીડમાં ફસાઈ ઘોર ગૂંચવણમાં પડી ગઈ. તે અફરાતફરીમાં સામે ઊભેલા પોતાના અને શત્રુપક્ષના યોદ્ધાઓને પણ પોતાના જ લોકો મારતા હતા. આમ બંને પક્ષના વીર મર્યાદાશૂન્ય, નિયંત્રણવિહિન યુદ્ધમાં પ્રવૃત્ત થયા.
